Founder & Internal Medicine Physician

Dr. Hector Garza is a board-certified internal medicine physician and the founder of Premier Valley Health. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Garza proudly calls the Rio Grande Valley home. He is passionate about serving his community with high-quality, compassionate care rooted in prevention, wellness, and long-term relationships.

Dr. Garza earned his medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency through the University of South Florida at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and brings a strong foundation in chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient education.

He has presented research at national conferences including the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Garza’s clinical approach is centered on building trust, understanding his patients’ needs, and guiding them toward lasting health.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Garza enjoys spending time with his family and staying active outdoors.
